Announcing The Drey

A community of squirrels lives in peace in an urban park—until the humans start spreading poisoned food. To the humans, it’s “pest control,” but to the squirrels it’s an act of war. Now, brilliant but anxious scientist Lucy and moody scout Jasper have to figure out how to address this new existential threat—a task complicated by a do-nothing elder council and a sinister revolutionary, Aidan, who has his own violent plans for retribution.

The Drey is written by me and illustrated by Brian Shearer, whom you may know from Transformers, G.I. Joe, and his creator-owned series William the Last.

It’s a mini-series coming next year (2019) from Action Lab, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. More details, including the specific schedule, as things develop!
